PWM Compression

At the heart of the BA-210 is a stereo Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) compressor. This topology offers extremely low distortion, minimal compression artifacts and excellent stereo tracking while maintaining fast transient response.

Saturation

Following the compressor, the BA-210 features a precisely adjustable saturation stage. This circuit introduces primarily odd harmonic content that increases signal density and enhances perceived presence. At higher settings, the saturation also adds body and weight while preserving overall clarity.

Soft-Clipper

The final processing stage is an analog diode-based soft-clipper designed to increase achievable loudness before digital conversion or subsequent limiting. Its smooth transfer characteristic rounds transient peaks progressively rather than abruptly, allowing additional level to be achieved while maintaining a controlled and natural presentation.
